Luigi Gurakuqi
The Department of Psychology and Social Work (DPSW) is part of the Faculty of Educational Sciences. The Department can count on an academic full-time staff of 11 Professors, Lecturers and Assistant Lectures in Psychology, Social work and sociology. (1 Associate Professor, 8 PhD Lecturers and 2 PhD candidates Assistant Lecturers). The mission of the DPSW is to provide social workers and psychologists with the necessary theoretical background and empirical skills for the Social Work and the psychological professional practice. The DPSW offers two Bachelor programs: Social Work, and Psychology; two Masters of Sciences programs: Organizational Psychology and Clinical Psychology. The Bachelor program in Social Work was established in 2005. The mission of the program is to provide a comprehensive education in theory and practice of Social Work.
Visar Dizdari

Visar Dizdari is a full-time Lecturer of Sociology and Social Research Methods at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. Since 2016 he has been the Head of Psychology and Social Work Department. He received a Bachelor degree in Sociology at the University of Tirana (2000) and the PhD degree in Methodology of Social Sciences at the University of Florence (2014). His main areas of interest and expertise include social research method, theoretical sociology, social problems and social policy.
Fatmir Vadohej
Dean of Faculty of Educational Sciences and WP dissemination implementation
Fatmir Vadohej is a full-time Professor of “Teaching Methodology” and “Psychology of Teaching” at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences since 2016. From 2004 to 2016 he was Pro-Rector of the University of Shkoder. In 1996 he received his PhD in Pedagogy at the University of Tirana. His expertise includes general pedagogy, pre-school pedagogy, and educational theory.
Marilda Jançe

Marilda Jançe has been a full time Lecturer at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi” since 2007. She graduated in Social work at the University of Tirana (2002). She obtained the Master degree in Social Work at Tirana University (2008), and she received her PhD in Social Work in 2014. Her main fields of interest are ethics and professional issues, supervision and program evaluation. She was active in T@sk Project’s activities until May 2019.
Lediana Xhakollari

Lediana Xhakollari is a full time Lecturer at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology (2001-2005), MPA (Master of Public Administration, 2009- 2010), and a PhD in Psychology (2009-2015). Her research areas include human development, psychological assessment and testing, leadership issues.
Galsvinda Biba
Scientific Committee
Galsvinda Biba has been working as a Lecturer at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi” since 2008. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Social Work (2004-2008) and the PhD in Social Work (2009-2016). Her expertise includes children rights, working with children, gender issues, and organizational behavior.
Bujane Topalli
Dissemination implementation
Bujane Topalli is a full-time Assistant Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”. She received a Bachelor Degree in Social Work at the University of Shkoder in 2008 and a Master Degree in Community Organization at the University of Tirana in 2010. She is PhD candidate at the University of Tirana in the field of Social Work. Her experience includes the work with marginalized groups: young people with mental disabilities, children from Roma communities.

Andi Fishta, is IT staff at University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi” (since 2013). He was graduated in Computer Science / Information and communication technology at the University of Tirana (2008) Magister / Master – consecutive.
